Michael Yates

All Regular, Unofficial, and Non-Regular Classes

I was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. My wife Vicki and I were encouraged by them to enter the dog fraternity in 1982 after purchasing our first Dobermann. With our daughter Denise, we currently own, breed and exhibit Dobermanns under the Salieri prefix and Shetland Sheepdogs under the Inneslake Prefix and have previously owned and exhibited Bullmastiffs and a Foxhound. I am licensed to judge the Gundog, Hound, Herding, Utility and Non Sporting groups at Championship level and am licenced to judge Toys and Terriers at Open Show level and hope to elevate to Championship status in the Terrier Group in 2018. I also am currently the Utility Group assistant co-ordinator for the Judges training scheme for Dogs Queensland. I have had the honour to judge at the 2011 Dobermann Club of Western Australia Specialty, 2012 the South Island Dobermann Club of New Zealand specialty, 2015 The Dobermann Club of Victoria and Dobermann Feature Specialty Show at the Waimakariri Kennel Association in New Zealand in 2016.
